Dan the Man

Daniel is 20 years old now. He was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2. He can't talk or communicate. On the spectrum, he is considered low functioning and mentally disabled. Since he was 2, I have not only been an older sister but a third parent. For 20 years now I have kept my thoughts, fears, emotions, and even joy to myself. Here is my chance to share my stories of a special individual that God has blessed my family with...Daniel, my brother with autism…AKA "Dan the Man."

APRIL = Autism Awareness Month
